High quality French sandwiches & quiches Wichita with Alain Galette and LA Galette French Bakery

French bakery Wichita from LA Galette French Bakery and Alain Galette: Alain opened La Galette to bring a small taste of Europe to the Midwest. Our menu is simple, yet delicious and wee are so proud to be homemade from the first to the last bite. Alain Galette takes pride in our high quality, quick and simple items that can cater to all palates. My friend’s tomato bisque was served in a large bowl and was thick, creamy and hot. She said she would definitely order it again. Both of our lunch entrees were served with a freshly baked hard roll. Our fattoush salads were piled high on individual plates, but we agreed the dressing tasted like a red wine vinaigrette so the salad didn’t have as much flavor as other fattoush salads. Our dessert choices included tarts, eclairs, cheesecake and other delectable items, and it was difficult to select one. Find more details on Alain Galette Miami.

There are two qualities in a restaurant that are guaranteed to win over any customer: good food and good people. Over in the Delano District, you will find just that in a French bakery on west Douglas. They’re a popular little spot that’s been around for over three decades now in Wichita. People literally drive from all parts of the state to pick up their pastries and desserts. But this review will cover much more because La Galette French Bakery is not just about the desserts. There’s a whole lot more going on!

The first thing though that catches your eyes is the display of desserts. Don’t be overwhelmed by it all. The guys working that afternoon were able to answer any and all questions customers had about what felt like every single one. They were able to make suggestions, explain what each dessert was made of, and give a little back story of some of the desserts. I love hearing restaurant owners and staff talking about their food. I’m no cook so learning about what goes into each one is really fascinating to me.

Top rated French bakery Wichita by Alain Galette and LA Galette French Bakery: After glancing through the desserts, I started lunch off backwards and ordered the St. Tropez for starters. Most people end their meals with dessert, I wanted to change things up that afternoon. The picture doesn’t do the dessert true justice. While very similar to a cake, this rich cream-filled brioche gets its name from its hometown of origin, St. Tropez, France. The guys over at La Galette told me you can’t find this dessert anywhere else in town. It’s unique to La Galette and it’s simply splendid. It’s also one of the most popular desserts there. After eating it, I contemplated cancelling my lunch order and getting more dessert but common sense one that day.

If you thought their desserts were good, just wait until you try their lunch menu. My friend went with their lunch special which was the Southwest chicken over rice along with chicken and rice soup (Yes, he must be a big fan of chicken and rice). He thought both were fantastic and was amazed how good the food was given it was his first time ever at La Galette. The portion size he received was more than enough as well.

I had the pastrami sandwich served in a croissant as recommended by the staff along with the lentil soup. I was hesitant at first because I felt the croissant would just fall apart while eating but that wasn’t the case. It’s the only way to go when you order a sandwich. It was a great sandwich with plenty of meat. The Lentil soup was served hot and was delicious.

Before ordering the sandwich, I was back and forth on whether to go with the sandwich or the Quiche. Since I ordered the sandwich, I went back the very next day and ordered their seafood Quiche and a fattouch salad.

The seafood Quiche was possibly the best I’ve ever had; nice generous heaping of seafood such as crab inside that didn’t have me second-guessing my order. The fattouch salad was as expected a highly piled stack of lettuce. It was certainly lighter tasting than most other fattouch around town; maybe it was the dressing as it didn’t have much on it.

Regardless two different visits to La Galette and both were big wins. The only real negative of the place is that they are just open for lunch but don’t expect that to change.

French bakery Wichita, KS with Alain Galette and LA Galette French Bakery: The other huge positive besides the food is the people. Everybody there is SOOOOOO incredibly friendly and just as knowledgeable on the menu. Every person who walked in received a greeting and every person who left received a thank you. It’s the small things like that which can really help a restaurant thrive. Others should take note.

Add La Galette to your rotation of restaurants. You’ll be glad you did.

How much do you indulge your sweet tooth? It’s not every day that you visit a french bakery in Kansas, but when you do, you’ll want pastries like these. Have you tried this Wichita bakery before? Order the lunch special and pick out your dream come true. Welcome to La Galette French Bakery, an oasis of pastries in the city. Before we get to the pastries themselves, we should also mention that they make amazing lunches that vary from sandwiches to soups and other light fare. If you haven’t had fresh macarons before, now’s the best time to try them. They’ve got more than a couple flavors, but prepare to want more!

It takes more than a well-designed web presence that highlights menus and specials. Industry studies report that 80 percent of potential customers check out restaurant websites and online reviews before they make a decision. Invest in social media management that stretches your market reach and helps you win important positive reviews. You’ve established your brand, but you want to improve the bottom line. If you wonder about how to make a successful restaurant better, think beyond the dining room. Branch out with off-site catering. Explore on-site options with alfresco service. Take profits to another level by expanding on your current success.

Since that time, Drory has cultivated a prestigious history of success in the New York City restaurant scene. His first purchase was Ye Waverly Inn from the family who had run the establishment for three generations. Due to his strategic upgrades to the restaurant, including the installation of the famed garden, Drory created a popular New York hot spot and tripled the revenue in three years. After 14 years for ownership, he sold Ye Waverly Inn for seven figures. Next, Drory bought The Cub Room restaurant from renowned chef, Henry Meer for $1.25 million. After a year of ownership he had increased the revenue by 70%. Totaling in 8,000 square feet, The Cub Room housed a 3,000 square foot dining area, a lounge with a bar which was further expanded by Drory, with 89 types of scotch and 94 types of vodka. An organic café occupied the third room, which became a favorite hangout area for New Yorkers. After about ten years Drory sold the restaurant for $2.5 million

Drory’s next restaurant and renovation project was Greenwich café, a 24-hour café, which became a well- loved spot by its downtown West Village community. Barbara Walters even chose the restaurant to host a 4-hour, on-location live show where the community played an integral part of the broadcast. The initial project cost for the restaurant was $350,000 and it was sold for $1.8 million, adding to Drory’s portfolio. Along with Lesly Bernard, best known for Pravda and Clementine, and Herb Wilson, formerly of Bambou and Jack’s Fifth, Drory next remade Greenwich into NYC, which was acquired for $2.2 million. Drory’s other projects have included two Italian restaurants, located in East and West Village, and called Tanti Baci. Drory brought in special cooks from a village in Palermo, Italy, where his father was raised, to enhance the romantic feel of the restaurant. The two restaurants were a big success after 14 years of operating and were sold for $1.8 million each.

One of Drory’s latest projects is Artisanal Bistro, located on 2 Park Avenue, noted as NYC’s first artisanal food entries. After acquiring Artisanal, Drory made many improvements in the first 40 days, including saving $1.2 million by cutting expenses and adding enhancements to the environment for the clientele that love Artisanal. Menu enhancements by Drory include offering 81 types of wine by glass to match the existing menu of 197 types of cheese; expert bakers from Breads to add to the wine and cheese experience; and increasing the wine selection list to include top shelf cognac and scotch. Drory hired Adam Tihany, the famed hospitality designer who originally designed the space, to renovate Artisanal. Additional contracts in the works include two downtown hotspots; Spitzer’s Corner on 101 Rivington Street and Los Feliz on 109 Ludlow Street. Spitzer’s was bought for $5.2 million and Los Feliz for $2.8 million. Sarid also bought the club Fat Baby for $3 million. Drory will be moving Artisanal to a better and bigger location on Park Avenue, because Sarid would like to share the space with a substantial retail space for cheese and pastries by Fall 2016.

Running a restaurant can be tricky, especially if you are a first-time restaurateur. This industry is fraught with problems ranging from budget issues to staffing shortages. However, you can have restaurant success with the help of these useful tips to get you going.

Top-Notch Appliances – Just as with your food purchases, you need top-quality appliances to prepare excellent meals. This way, you are also at less risk of your stove or oven quitting halfway through a service. When you buy reliable brands, you can count on fewer repairs, longevity, and accuracy for temperature settings. So, you will save money in the long run when you budget for high-end kitchen appliances. USP – A unique selling point shows what you offer that your competitors don’t. Hone in on this by presenting meals that are made differently. For instance, cook with ingredients growing in a garden at the back of your restaurant. This will draw customers to you. Create dishes that exude your unique style or play on a traditional family recipe. This creates intrigue which leads to more foot traffic.

BellaBot is our most popular restaurant service robot and it is for good reason! For running food to the tables, there’s no better serving robot than BellaBot on the market. The most menial task for waiters and waitresses around the world is bringing food from the kitchen to the table, and it’s no wonder why. Dishes can quite large and heavy, and there are only so many you can stack on a tray. Piping hot dishes can be a burn hazard for both workers and patrons as they make way to deliver food to the tables. We’ve heard countless concerning stories from customers we’ve worked with of such injuries and burns happening in their restaurants and their search for a solution. That’s where BellaBot comes in to save the day!

Navia Robotics spends considerable time and money investing in research and development for core positioning and navigation technologies for our robotic systems. We partner with top technology companies around the world to develop accurate positioning systems and sensors and have expertise in both LIDAR and visual imaging systems and utilize our own advanced algorithms for simultaneous localization and mapping. Our latest BellaBot is the first in the service robot industry to utilize both LIDAR and visual SLAM systems for accurate positioning and repeatability, one of the most important aspects of a service robot’s capabilities.

HolaBot comes with a paging function, a watch sized device to automatically page the robot to your location to save time by not having to track down the robot when you need it. Just wave your hand above the sensor on the top of the HolaBot unit to have the robot return to its base. No need to touch the return button if your hands are wet or dirty. Voice Recognition: Simply call out “Hola Hola” and the HolaBot robot will turn around upon arrival for easy loading and unloading.

For most operations, battery life is sufficient to last throughout the day, but for 24/7 high volume operations, it’s possible to swap the battery to keep the BellaBot running non-stop. 3 x RGBD depth cameras provide BellaBot with better three-dimensional visual perception than ever before. It can accurately detect obstacles and come to a stop with a response time as short as half a second.Bellabot sensors: Independent Linkage Suspension. Auto-leveling adaptive variable suspension system is built-in to the wheel assembly to dampen the robot from sudden braking and vibration. Damping levels can be adjusted according to different floor compositions and speed requirements. Read extra info on https://www.naviarobotics.com/.

Restaurants with larger footprints where it’s quite a ways away from the front entrance to the more distant tables were having a crisis when the restaurant was packed; the host would be taking far too long to take guests to their tables meaning there was nobody to greet new patrons who just walked in the door. Hiring another receptionist or host just for this purpose didn’t make much sense, especially during downtime when the restaurant was less busy, so the owners used the KettyBot to take guests to their tables. What they found was it was an incredibly effective and efficient use of time, the host can always be on standby at the front entrance and take phone calls as necessary for reservations, while no time was wasted to get guests seated.

KettyBot is our reception and greeting specialist robot. With a large 18.5″ display screen, it can cruise around the entrance displaying marketing ads, escort guests to their table all the while retaining the ability to carry loads in the built-in trays. It’s capable of AI voice interaction with guests to catch their attention and impress! KettyBot in Action! Compact Design for Tight Spaces: KettyBot is our smallest service robot and with its round footprint and forward-leaning body shape, it can navigate between spaces just 22″ wide, making it an ideal choice in crowded and tight environments.

When we bought the business a little over a year ago, the beer selection was extremely limited, easy and quite simply, boring! Since this point we dumped 80% of the offerings, and doubled the options and we have gotten to a point now where we believe that we are starting to receive comparisons to the best beer venues in the city. (We are cheaper than those Alien guys and we have a better selection of local stuff than they do FYI).
