Get educated even with a tight budget! Online education helps you to save on costs like fuel, parking, books, child care, and more. And since so many of these programs are self-paced, they can offer you the opportunity to graduate in less time than a traditional program. Less time spent in college equals lower educational costs. Plus, many online degrees have lower tuition fees. Online courses help you become tech-savvy: Distance-learning programs make use of sophisticated technology to provide education. By accessing study material electronically, submitting assignments via websites, and participating on online forums to interact with professors and classmates on a day-to-day basis, you can become more technologically savvy than your classroom counterparts.
The modern classroom has changed in recent years. Teaching methods, technology, subject choices and assessment metrics have all transformed education for the students of today. But one thing remains constant: Learning has always been enhanced by personal, one-to-one support, and students who receive personal tutoring perform better than those who don’t. Online tutoring is an increasingly popular option for students – however many parents still wrestle with the question: “Is an online option right for my child’s learning and my family’s needs?”

Most online tutors offer services that encompass a wide range of core subjects, but chances are you only need help in a few areas. Look for sites specializing in areas where you need the most improvement. For parents, it may be helpful to talk to your child about the subjects that interest them the most or the least in school; if there’s hostility toward certain subjects, this could very well mean they’ll benefit from the support of a tutor. For many students and parents, teachers, guidance counselors, and other education professionals are the best resource for discovering online opportunities; they can often recommend programs that have been particularly effective with former students.
Financial Aid: A variety of scholarships and loan options are available to help pay for seminary. Revenues for seminary operations come primarily from outside contributions. Student tuition and fees cover only a small percentage of the total educational expenses. Loans: WBS offers federal direct unsubsidized student loans. This is a loan borrowed by the student. Interest begins to accrue on the loan at the time it is disbursed. Students may make payments on the interest while enrolled or allow it to be capitalized until repayment. Repayment begins once a student drops below half-time status, withdraws, or graduates for a period of six months.
Real-time: Using live video technology, students are brought together in a virtual classroom setting at specific class times for lectures and class interactions. Students can participate in any on-campus course via real-time video. Students will be able to watch the professor’s lectures as well as see the other students who are online and in the physical classroom. Online students have the same opportunity to ask questions and engage with the professor as the on-campus students do. See even more details on https://wbs.edu/.
